Yup - worked through three versions of Win 7 - runs like a champ. (Dell Mini 9
- upgraded to 2GB of RAM)

Also have it on my main work laptop - main issue is not being able to get my
inbuilt Dell 5520 WWAN card working. But perceived performance wise (i.e. UI
interaction) is way ahead of Vista. The new service controller that can
demand-start services I think has something to do with this. A lot less stuff
starting up when you boot the machine and first logon.

Cheers
Ken

I believe Ken installed it on his dell mini from a posting on the list a month
back or so. I have it on a fairly weak Precision M70 and it way out performs
Vista on the same hardware.

Another option:

Anyone tried installing Windows 7 beta on a netbook?

I CAN'T go back to XP. It just feels old and clunky to me...
