They will expire 60 days from when they were last changed. That means that if 
all your user's passwords were last set a year ago, and you set this policy 
today, they will all be forced to change next time they logon.

The mitigation plan for this is to first mark password never expires on every 
user and then release the accounts for reset in batches (by unchecking the 
box/clearing the bit).

My question is this... If I decide to enable password expiration, how is the 
expiration date calculated for my users?

Let's say that today I set passwords to expire every 60 days. Will all current 
users' passwords expire 60 days from today? Or will all current users' 
passwords expire today, if those passwords are 60 days or older?
