Are you intending to use thin client devices or workstations? There are some
options that don't involve actually delivering virtual desktop images. You
could maybe use mandatory profiles combined with Windows Terminal Services
(especially the 2008 version) to avoid the costs incurred by technologies
such as Citrix.
