I have a friend with a laptop that was having start up issues. He tried to run XP setup after booting with an XP CD and perform a repair, but the laptop is running media center. The XP setup gives an error. Now when the laptop is started it goes in to the XP setup and stops the setup with an error. Any ideas on how how to correct this without a format and reinstall?
