Something to the effect of:

Right-click on it >  Settings > Language Bar Settings  > uncheck Display
Language Bar

 

As others have mentioned, certain updates can bring it back, but they are
very few.

Greetings! 

I never want to see the "Microsoft Language Toolbar" again on my task bar.
Someday, someone else might want to see the tool... 

Anyone know how to make it go away and stay away unless I specifically
request its return?
