Hi chaps,

Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to image a software based raid
partition in a windows 2003 box? I have a knackered old SBS 2003 server which
has creaking old ATA disks in it. It's been decided that we are allowed to
upgrade the disks to spanking new creaking ATA hard disk of a bigger size.

I thought I'd ask as it's the only software raid based box I have come across,
so I want to be sure. If I break the array, power it off, boot from imaging
software cd, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to image the disk is there?
Each disk in the raid is set as a dynamic disk if that helps. The aim is to
increase the space assigned to each partition in the array while the image is
going on.

Olly
