I like to brush my hair with old cpus, the pentium pro I have here is great for 
when I'm in a long thinking session.

  yes, it is, but also has some surface mount components and an attached heat 
sink... I'll just use my knife sharpener for the knife ( or an upside down 
coffee cup )

  If it is one of the hard grey/brown ceramic chips, they make one of the best 
knife sharpening ceramics ever. With the pins on the bottom sticking the chip 
into an old piece of short knap carpet they stay put and keep your fingers out 
of the blade and with a little honing oil or Marvel Mystery Oil they remain 
stationery and teriffic for sharpening knives. My suggestion is that you hang 
on to it for that purpose. I have several old 486s and early Pentiums that I 
keep around for just that purpose. They work great and are pretty cheap.
