1. My thought is that once you've verified the machine is clean and protected, a weekly deep scan after hours should be sufficient to let you sleep well.
2. My preference is to scan Zip file, but I'd rather have this be a function of my Exchange a/v product (Ninja, perhaps) instead of VIPRE's mail scanner.
