Nope, you can configure the card without a reboot. What you want is
"hponcfg" which is here: http://preview.tinyurl.com/cboru9, assuming
Windows 2003 x86.

This version has a GUI util you can use to make life easier..

Subject: HP iLO question

I've been reading up on HP's iLO this morning and have a couple of
questions. I have a ML370 G5 I want to enable this on. I'm not sure of
its current status, but will assume it is at factory settings. Is it
necessary to reboot the server to configure the ilo card? I've seen
mention of a config utility that can be run from the OS, but wasn't sure
if it allowed configuring ip address, or was for something else.

Thanks,
Jeff
