Print Manager Plus was recommended by several others as well outside of
this forum. Thanks for the input, we are going to give them a beta test
to see how well it works. Thanks again!

I currently use Print Manager Plus and have really had no issues and if
I did I sent in an email and they were able to help out.

It will track print jobs from any printer, you can set messages to be
displayed on the person computer screen if you want, you can set price
per page on a per printer level and there are dozens of reports, from a
single user to a single printer and even at the workstation level. You
can if you want to set a quota on a per person level or if you have AD
running you could set it at the group level or just let the software
monitor the jobs with no quota involved.

Would grabbing event logs do this for you? You get what printer was used
and who printed to it, as well as how many pages (I think). Then again
it might be too kludgy for what you're looking for.

Anyone have good recommendations on print audit/tracking programs. Not
being used publicly, just need to track codes on a wide range of
printers, plotters, copiers etc. All devices are actual printers on a
2003 Print Server.

It is preferable to be able to set cost per print based on size or
specific printer. Reporting based on user code is a must

Thanks
