First I've heard about Citrix intending to ditch the Access Gateway line in favour of the NetScalar products, unless they bring out a low cost NetScalar product they'll be cutting out a large chunk of their market I would have thought. Heard it directly from a lead NetScaler engineer (one of the original NetScaler guys before Citrix bought them). Look at the amount of work that has been done on the AAC software the last 2 or 3 years - NONE. Look at the work done on the CAG appliances the last 2 years - hardly any. Now look at the work being done on the NetScaler appliances and how many there are now and all the features they have now. It _looks_ convincing to me.
