Hi Folks: Anyone have suggestions for a method to print in Terminal Services 2008, not using "desktop experience"? Our enterprise application (Great Plains, an MS product no less) does not currently support desktop experience printing. My terminal servers are 64-bit, desktops are standard 32-bit XP. I've tried to create fake printers and put then in a GPO to push to the terminal servers, so then I could just delete the printers but keep the drivers on the servers. The printers didn't push to the servers. The print server is also 2008 but 32-bit. So I am wondering if there are I have file and print services installed on the Terminal Servers as well, but I cannot add those servers to just add printers that way either. When I attempt to do that, I get the error "Network printer installation wizard can not be launched. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer is connected to the network." Am I making this more difficult than it needs to be? Clarification appreciated.
