Hi folks. I was looking at a laptop and had many good comments from this list
that helped me make a decision.
Anyway, I went with a Dell Studio 15 from Costco.
The price was as good as or better than what I got with our company's Dell
Employee discount and some other prices I found.
It's an Intel Core Dou T6400 with 4 gig of RAM, a 500 gig drive and the other
basics included with a 15.1" screen.
Regulard 5 cell battery.
It came with Vista Home Pro with SP1.
After I bought it, I started to think about Windows 7 coming out. So I'm
wondering if I should have just waited for Windows 7 to release and get one
with that on it. I don't know the manufacturer's policy about provding a
Windows 7 update if you purchased within the last 6 months or something.
Thoughts?
