Don’t forget cloning doesn’t mean the thing will boot on a new pc or an old
one if you added sata(if that’s what your doing). 

 

You may want to look at converting it to a vm and setting it on top of a new
pc with the new hardware.

As long the cloning boot disk (floppy of ghost or CD of Storagecraft or
others) sees the 2 disks , yo generally may clone them

We have an EDI server (still in production) needing replacement.

It’s with an old IDE hard drive and we would like to upgrade to a system
using SATA (…having little choice in the matter).

Can anyone recommend tried/tested cloning software?  Many thanks. Cheers.
