Thanks that sounds like what we are looking for! If the Dell BIOS on these servers allows for that, that would work as the appliance i referenced earlier can run the shutdown procedure and it does cut power to the outlet that server would be plugged into. i will review this coming weekend and test. thanks again and i hope if thhere is anything else to help resolve this situation it would be greatly appreciated.
