W2K3 sp1. New Dell T300 4 GB RAM. Backing up 300 GB consisting of several million files in 11 directories from one server. Used both NT Backup and BE 12. During a restore using NT Backup on the T300 I'm getting errors stating "An inconsistency has been found in a file". I am able to restore each directory individually except for one. The one I cannot seem to get through has one million files in a sub directory. Been through MS Support and Google. Seems to be a common issue with out a definitive fix. Does NT Backup have limitations on file count? Can anyone recommend a free or inexpensive restore utility that will read a NY Backup or BE 12 backup file and enable me to restore the whole 300 GB file in one shot? Thanks. Steve
