Just to add another data point... Firefox 3.0.9 on Win XP Pro... PDF Download and NoScript installed... had to enable scripting for the site, but no globally... then got prompted to save a file with a name like "pdf_loader.pl" or something like that. Ended up with a roughly 40 MB file Windows thought was a Perl script, but which worked as a PDF once renamed.
