Hi all - I'm trying to walk the fine line of enabling our users while maintaining some control. I'd like to allow select MOSS site owners the ability to manage their own sites. I don't trust them on setting permissions. One of the custom permissions available is "setting permission". That works great.
However, since we don't have a charge back system, most users have little concern for costs. Thus, if they create a document library, every time it will have versioning enabled with who knows how many retained versions. I'd like to give them the ability to create a doc library, but have it created with no versioning. If they felt they needed versions, then they would need to work with IT. Any MOSS guru's know if this is possible? Thanks for any ideas Kevin ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
