I miss summers working for a school system. I could modify my schedule and work 4x10, and have three day weekend, for 10 weeks. One summer, my principal let me do the following in leiu of vacation, I worked 4x10+1x8 for 8 weeks, took vacation around 4th of July, so I used 1 vacation day for two weeks of vacation. That was actually the same fiscal year I cashed out of the system with something like 35 days at my daily rate. It was sweet.
