I got it up and running by using a PING TV4 -l 1500 and setting the packets
right - I'm using the v18 now too.

Now I have to get the Tapi services working.

Not sure what my problems were but that problem is fixed, probably do a posting
today about the Tapi Services so I can get vista to dial from ACT. Fun stuff -
thanks though.

That's the GUI version, what the OpenVPN version? I just set up a simple
Client/Host VPN using 2.1 rc15 (18 is out now) on Vista Biz 32bit and it's been
great.

Subject: VPN Tunnel not stable in Vista

Good Morning All,

I am having trouble with a VPN connection in Vista. I am able to negotiate and
build out the connection, we can ping across, but as soon as we send any
traffic across it is dies. XP machines work fine using same VPN endpoint. I
am running Vista Ultimate SP 1 and OpenVPN GUI V1.0.3. I have turned off Vista
basic controls such as firewall & IPV6. Downloand 4MB upload 400kb. The
connection does not seem to be stable. Please let me know if you have an
suggestions or direction.

TIA
Lee
