I've got a problem w/ the above after I installed a 8GB kit certified by
Crucial to be compatible w/ the SC1435. Dell support says, "It's the
RAM, stupid. You didn't buy it from us." I'm getting ready to call
Crucial, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this or how to get
the "System memory configuration is not optimal." error that precedes
the F1 to continue message to "go away".

I have the server set up w/ the original 2GB kit (from when server was
bought) & added the 8GB kit. BIOS sees 10GB of RAM, and Windows sees
10GB of RAM. I've tried it w/ just the 8GB kit installed, and get the
same error. If I go back to the 2GB only, the error goes away (of
course).
