Copy their desktop, favorites and N2k files to a network location, delete their
profile, do a disk cleanup, rebuild their profile and copy the files back, I
doubt it is worth troubleshooting.

Subject: Send shortcut to desktop
I realize this is the NT Admin list, not the XP list, butve asked there
and am getting deafening silence. On my machine (and pretty much every
other machine in my network) one of the options when you right-click and
selectsend idesktop (create shortcut). However, one
users machine does not have that option.m wondering if there is
apowertoo or something like that that I need to install on his
machine. All desktop machines in my network are XP Pro.

Thanks,
