Actually that's a pretty good diagnostic and often memory errors are the
culprit when it comes to this sort of thing.... amazing that could happen in
this day and age... You'd think that all the manufacturers would have
perfect ram these days. :-)

I really like Crucial's memory. Only problem is they don't have a Linux
version of their memory compatibility app. :-(

It's probably a bad stick of memory.  Take them all out and use one at a
time till it boots up.
