Will the new server be part of the same Exchange org? Will the old server stay running for a little while as you bring up the new one?
If yes to both you don't need to do anything. As you move the mailboxes from one server to another Outlook will automagically find the new server. Just leave it running long enough for everyone to log in once to Outlook. > -----Original Message----- > From: Phil Labonte [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Monday, June 29, 2009 11:28 AM > To: NT System Admin Issues > Subject: Change the Exchange serer name in outlook with GPO? > > We are moving to a new Exchange server here at work.
