We are an XP only organization on the desktop. We have 2 Win2k3 servers where we use DFS to mirror the data between them. We found that there were significant issues with trying to access the DFS location from the desktops -- data was not replicated consistently between the two servers, so we still have DFS running, but only access the data on one server. It was too much of a headache to try and access it from a random server.
