Are you able to download and then reinstall 948881 update to then uninstall it? Maybe not if it's that bad, but it's worth a try if you haven't done so yet.
I do also remember back when I had the patch issue that I had tried stopping automatic updates, deleting c:\windows\softwaredistribution, and starting the service up again. -----Original Message----- From: Charlie Kaiser [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 10, 2009 7:13 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: 800B0100 error on W2K8 IE8 has not been installed. 948881 was the last successful prior to the failure of 951847. 3/9/09. I wanted to do some rollbacks, but when I go to 'installed updates' it's blank due to this problem; there's corruption in the store: "Mark store corruption flag because of package: Package_for_KB948610~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.0.6001.2123. hr: 0x800b0100" Have not figured out a way to roll this back yet... *********************** Charlie Kaiser [email protected] Kingman, AZ *********************** > -----Original Message----- > From: Miller Bonnie L.
