Yep. The Google App's Sync plugin removed Outlook from the WDS index via a registry edit. The plugin is not compatible with Instant Search. I put links for reference in my other reply as I found the answer soon after asking the question here.

It's there, but you can't type in any of the fields like From, Body, Subject, etc. I've tried rebuilding the index in Vista, searched everywhere in Outlook looking for a checkbox of some sort that I may have mistakenly (un)selected. Office Diagnostics show no problems. I have tried a registry value that is suppose to re-initialize Windows Search all together. Disk space isn't a problem. Google yields the same 3 or 4 posts over and over with no solution or for people running XP. Any suggestions? -- Mike Gill -- David _____________________ I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things: A rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
