We are a small shop, currently 75% Vista 25% XP. We will be replacing most of
the XP Machines in the next 60 days with Windows 7. Some of the new PC's are
already ordered and should be in right around the time Win 7 is available for
download. I have run Win 7 in a Virtual PC for quite a while now, and we have
had other Physical Windows 7 PC's off and on for the last several months.
Currently the last of those had to be wiped and loaded for another use and now
we are just waiting. The only problems we have found with Win 7 were the same
problems we had with Vista, 32 or 64-bit since we still have a few 16-bit apps
that are run. And Drivers for Printers are always an issue. However the
printers did not seem to be as much of an issue, as Win 7 used the Vista
Drivers we had in all cases.

We are still an XP client shop, with about 1% of the systems running
Vista. I envision us going right to Win 7.

Currently support XP on systems we roll out. Allow Vista for systems
researchers buy on their own. Movie to win7 for our rollouts after
evaluating the release version.

We are skipping Vista as a standard desktop.
