What version of Windows?

You can do all sorts of trigger based stuff in WS08. WMI also has event based
things.

I have a better question though. What are you doing wrong that is causing your
scopes to fill up?

Thanks,

Subject: Re: DHCP scope usage alert vbs, without MOM

Off the top of my (old-style) head, I would use something like dumpel to parse
the logs for the DHCP scope full event, then fire blat or similar to mail it
out to me

Hi List,

I want to write a script that will e-mail me if there is no free IP addresses
on one of the scopes. I googled it but I can't find good solutions.

One way is to use netsh "show mibinfo. This command gives all the usage about
the scopes, but I need to parse it from a file.

We all know DHCP server already checks the usage of scope and creates an event
log if the scope is full, I want to modify this trigger so I can edit and mail
the situation.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
