It's just a text file formatted in a specific way. Create one with your favorite text editor. Put it in Windows\System32. Voila! Save this as OEMINFO.INI, then right-click "My Computer" and choose "Properties". You'll see what is displayed -- the data after "Manufacturer=" and "Model=" (i.e. "Lenovo XXXX 2287-2U7") appear; I have NO idea what the data after "SupportURL=" (i.e. http://www.lenovo.com/support) are for. Click the [Support Information] button and the data after "Line1=" to "Linexx=" appear in the text box. Note the final comment on "Line63=" below. Data in the "Support Information" box can be marked and copied using the mouse for pasting into other applications. You can also add an OEMLOGO.BMP that will be displayed on the bottom of the "Properties" tab.
