HP's drivers started to enter into the area of "absolute crap" about 2 years ago. That combined with a complete absence of customer service is why we're buying Lexmark now. Does the 1020 speak PCL 5? If so, try switching to the generic PCL drivers that come with Windows. "LaserJet 4" usually works.
