Yup, you are. Or a wus or is wimp the feminization of wus? I thought about Lasik but at my age, and the fact that since I live in a rural area the cost is higher, I'd never see a payback (other than no hassle). Also, no way I'd pay the money and still have to wear any kind of glasses. I'll just stick with my contacts. I was lucky enough to be able to adapt to bifocal contacts, too.

It's nice to hear from others that have had it done. I'm only considering it now because I'm starting to need reading glasses some, and I don't want bifocals. I've never had any kind of surgery, so the thought of something being pointed at my eyes and I am going to be semi aware of what is going on really freaks me out. The font color in most of the office applications is way to light for me to see....it's rather annoying and a co-worker who is the same age as I am did the same thing and he's complaining about the same thing, so I don't think it's just me. Why is the font color and size setup like that Microsoft? And now with this new monitor it's even worse... I've got an appt. next week for a preliminary exam for lasik eye surgery......
