We moved to a DataDomain unit setup last year.
We have one DD setup as the main backup system w/ a Backup Exec front end.
A second DD setup remotely as the backup for the primary DD.
And we went with a Lito4 tape changer from HP for long term storage and once
a month duplicate backups.
As of now, after one year we are getting close to a 33% deduplication on the
system so we are very happy with it.
Going from Tape was the best thing we ever did, no questions about it.
