Shook From: Mousehunt [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 14, 2009 12:15 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Backing up 2 million small files Hi All, I have a customer who has a file server. The server data is about 700GB but the number of files is 2 million. They are currently using tape to backup and it uses 12 hours for a full backup. The customer wanted to reduce to 8 hours and they are using Veritas NetBackup v6.5. May I know how can we achieve what the customer wants. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks.
