For those of you patching this weekend, there is apparently a bug in the detection logic for kb973869 which keeps telling Windows Update / WSUS / whatever that the patch is necessary even after it is installed. This apparently only affects 64 bit OSes, and indeed I have only seen it on x64.
It has been fixed apparently, but if you see the patch for kb973869 being offered over and over again don't worry about it. It's apparently installed correctly the first time and you don't have to keep chasing it or do anything else.
