If the data isn't in the profile folder any more, then it looks pretty
bleak. The ACLs on the folder itself haven't been reset have they, or
the folder hasn't been set to hidden or something? Maybe the files
just can't be seen....
People rely on their profiles so much these days, which is why I
implemented mandatory profiles with customisations imported in from
server shares at logon.

Have the files been deleted from c:\documents and settings\%username% ?
Did the it just force a logon with a temp profile?

XP Pro SP3.
Users coming in this morning are missing their profiles. That means there
Outlook Express email, their IE favorites, desktop shortcuts....etc....
What can I do to save my sanity?
System Restore is disabled on the majority of these machines so the
Virusscanner can delete files without them going into a restore bin.
Any help is appreciated.
