  Yes, but a real CRAC (computer room air conditioner) will actually
keep the humidity at a higher level (say, 40 to 50 % RH).  Very dry
environments lead to lots of static, which is also very bad for
computers.  The humidity control is one of the key differences between
a CRAC and standard AC.

  We have the standard AC in our little server room, and I can confirm
that we do get tons of static during the winter.
