I've got it deployed, but I'm trying to put in a new policy to reduce the CPU/memory usage on the laptops. I found out about the firewall issue when I was trying to deploy to my machine yesterday. had a tech on the phone with me walking me through it. J I certainly did not have this problem with AVG. wonder why Vipre has this problem??? Oh, well.

Documented somewhere is the port which must be opened in a (Windows or other "personal") firewall for this traffic to get through... Not best practice, but we stop the Windows firewall service on the machine for the deployment. Once you can connect, one goes to the policy and clicks the "Add agents" button (one monitor screen with a green "+"). Go from there... Now that I've been no help at all as you've been trying this - what issues with deployment are you having? -- Richard D. McClary Systems Administrator, Information Technology Group ASPCAR 1717 S.
