Our Pix cost over $8000 in 2001, we bought *2* ASA's to replace it and still paid less than that in 2007. There are some differents in the OS between the Pix and ASA, but they are very similar. We have PIXs and they are trying to get us to move to ASA now that they are phasing out. The ASA is very expensive and from what I hear, very complicated to manage. We are a medium sized business and do not need this IMHO.
