  PDF itself isn't a bad format.  In particular, the PDF/A (archival)
variants are well thought out.  It's fscking Adobe Reader that is
bloated, slow, over-complicated, buggy, fragile, and seems to have
bought a Lifetime Membership to the Exploit Of The Month Club.  :-(
Of course, Adobe has to keep re-extending the PDF format so that
people won't just abandon their products entirely.  (Reminds me of MS
Word.  ;-)  )
