Just tried that on a few messages and saw no size change. Exchange
2003, Outlook 2003.

Well, I can tell you in POP3 mode, it doesn't do squat to the reported
message size. Don't have Exchange, so I can't investigate that part of
the equation. FWIW, I've got Outlook 2007, so YMMV.

Subject: Flag message in outlook reduces its size

Anyone know why this happens?

If I flag an email in outlook (red, blue, green, whatever), the size of
the email immediately changes (sometimes as much as 50%).

Then, even if I clear the flag, the email stays at the new reduced size.

Outlook 2003 SP3
Exchange 2003 SP2

Just something I noticed today...can anyone else verify?
