All, I've got a Supermicro box with an Intel motherboard in it that is having issues with the motherboard RAID controller. - it's an Adaptec SATA HostRAID controller, and it's choking on the load we've given it.
Anyone have a good recommendation for an add-in RAID1 controller that I can move the OS to? There are 6 other drives in the chassis in a RAID5 array, and they're on a 3ware 9550SX controller, which seems to be performing just fine, but I want the OS on a separate controller for better throughput.
