It is kinda cool, but in my very limited experience it's still quite
buggy. You tell the silly thing to shut down and sometimes it hangs.
When you try to power off the VM with the Virtual PC interface it
hibernates instead of actually 'holding down the power button.' This
has happened to me twice and each time I had to kill the VPC process to
get the VM running again.

I also don't know how XP mode is going to play in managed environments.
I have no plans to deploy it at work, but won't it show up as a separate
OS, require separate patching, etc?

Again, I've only played with it and don't really have a need to use
virtualized apps and whatnot.

Yep, should've been fixed by now.

I have this problem at home running w7 64-bit RC.
Had to use the dll workaround, it's simple, but shouldn't have to do it.

I can't believe vSphere client will not work on W7, VMWare's official
response is to run it on an XP Virtual Machine!
