I'll echo what ASB said: What's the ROI (return on investment) here? Everything in business boils down to ROI. *EVERYTHING*. Cost vs benefit. It's going to cost not insignificant money to buy Macs, to buy new third-party software to support and maintain them, to train IT staff, to pay IT staff to take the time to learn all this stuff, to retrain users, to test compatibility, to deploy, to work out issues. Meanwhile, what revenue or cost savings does the Mac bring to your table? If the later doesn't exceed the former, it's bad for business. If it's a question of some app that's Mac only, do an analysis of what sticking with what's available for your existing infrastructure will cost you. Will it exceed the costs indicated above? If not, it's worth it to be less ideal. If it works out that the Macs will happen, then again do what ASB says: Use this as justification to bring on more admin staff, beef up training, gain experience, improve infrastructure, etc. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
