My mistake. I should have known that. > Why are you manually adding connection objects? You should not be doing this > most likely. Because under connections, I only see a connection to the other DC in that site. I see no connections to the DCs in the other sites (specifically, I see no connections to the DCs for the parent domain, nor to any of the DCs in the child domain ... including none to any of the FSMO role holders). Should there not be a link to the DCs in the other sites, for replication among all the DCs in the domain? Or am I totally misunderstanding what is happening? I have a total of 4 sites, with 6 DCs in the child domain between those sites, and 4 DCs in the parent domain (in one of those 4 sites). Shouldn't each DC in each site then have a link to all the other DCs? I realize that would be impossible in a larger domain structure, but I only have the 2 domains, and the 4 sites. > > Thanks, > Brian Desmond > [email protected] > > c - 312.731.3132 > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Leone > Sent: Tuesday, October 27, 2009 7:50 PM > To: NT Admin Mailing List; Active Dir ML > Subject: [ActiveDir] Odd entries in SITES and SERVICES > > Win2000 AD, in a parent/child domain config.
