It has a suspend state, but I have a few VM's that don't have the tools installed, or up-to-date tools. 1 is the openfiler storage vm, the untangle VM is the other one 1 can think off of the top of my head, haven't gotten round to it yet.
Prefer to have some shutdown properly, most of them could be suspended I suppose, might play with that over the next week or so.
