Normally, when a client installs a printer from a print server, the
client uses the "Printing Defaults" ("Advanced" tab) from the server.
If that's not happening, it usually means the driver isn't working
properly. I'd tell you to call the vendor for support, but I already
know that HP won't help you, because they suck.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver on the server.
You might try a generic PCL driver, if the printer supports that.
