I have used PassMark in the past. Not sure if it's the best/most accurate, but I like how it works.

Network and CPU usage is not maxed out and so I'm thinking maybe the disk isn't optimum. Anyone have a quick and dirty script or program that will give me read and write speed for the drives. What I really like to do is compare performance between two or three machines. Also, would rather not have to install a program and one that requires a reboot is out of the question. TIA.
