They are laptops. I do not mind the redirect, that could even be useful if I
login into a machine as myself and get access to my redirected My Docs stuff.
However, I do not want the files left on there from the Sync.

If these are desktops, why use offline files anyway? Just redirect and access
over the network...

Since the My Docs redirect is a computer configuration, I don't see how that's
possible. It's either on for the computer or off.

How much do the users move around? Maybe this won't be that big of a deal. Now,
if they have 3GB of data to synch, that's another story...

Subject: Folder Redirect

Running 2003 Native AD, and XP SP3 clients.

I am testing redirecting 'My Docs' to the network, and also making them
available using offline folder access. So far, this is working great. Now the
last challenge is to limit the offline sync to the user's main workstation.
Right now, if I login into any workstation as the test user, the My Docs are
synced to that machine.

So far my testing and Google Fu are failing me.

Any links or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
