I'm trying to get Aero enabled on a Lenovo T61 laptop. It was previously
running Windows 7 and Aero with Aero Peak was working flawlessly. The laptop
was wiped and reloaded with Server 2008 R2 x64 and since the reload I can't
get aero to enable. It's running an NVidia Quadro NVS 140M video card.

I have enabled the "Desktop Experience" feature which also forced me to
enable the "Ink and Handwriting Services." After doing this, I also had to
change the status of the Themese service from Disabled to Automatic and
start that service. Based on the documentation I've read that's supposed to
be all that is required to allow you to then change the Personalization to
use the Aero themes. I can see the Aero Themes section is now added, but the
Windows 7 theme is greyed out.

I've tried the latest drivers from Lenovo, I've tried the latest drivers
from NVidia and neither seem to have an impact.

Any ideas? I hate to say it but I've become addicted to Aero Peek.
